Hello everyone, and good day! My morning started off a bit rough today. I found out that my car battery was dead while trying to move it for street cleaning. Thankfully, the nice meter maid didn’t give me a ticket. Those tickets cost damn near $100, too! Then, as I was was walking to the bus stop, I see the bus pull up as I’m still just a block away. Awesome morning right?? Well, I promise it got better with a quick stop to Philz Coffee before waiting for the next bus.
Now for my crochet update! I spent just about all day Tuesday crocheting and I must say, I got a LOT done. I continued crocheting yestetday, but didn’t actually start until the late afternoon. If you saw my last blog post, you’ll know that my blanket is striped. My boyfriend Jon came up with the idea to have the stripes go from thick to thin so I went a long with it. The four bottom stripes have 5 rows per color. The four stripes above that, has 4 rows of each color. Then, the four stripes above that will have 3 rows per color, and so on. I hope that made sense, haha. My blanket is now halfway done and I can’t wait to finish! Here is my picture update. It’s folded in half because it is super wide, but height wise, it’s getting there!
I can’t wait to finish this and start on my next project! I’m thinking of doing two baby blankets next since one friend will be due in a few months, another friend’s baby is turning 1! I am also thinking of maybe opening up an etsy page so stay tuned for that, too.
Well, that’s all for now. Thanks for stopping by!
