Goodbye, 26.

Good morning/afternoon, good evening to you all!

Today is my last day of being 26 years old. This 26th year of life has been a semi-stressful and interesting year. I worked at a stressful and shitty cafe and also got laid off from said shitty cafe. I took an entire semester off from school and lived off unemployment for about 6 months. It was a bit crazy but that 6 month break away from work and school was extremely relieving and 100% stress free. I didn’t wake up pissed off knowing I had to go to work for a douchbag of a manger. I wasn’t stressing out about homework and huge projects. Instead, I got to sleep in and have breakfast with my boyfriend. We got to do to more things together because our work schedules were always weird.

Now, I have a pretty stress free job and I went back to school. I’ve been on top of all my hw assignments and projects, and that has always been a struggle. I’ve never been great at school so I’m pretty happy that I’ve held a B+ in Photoshop 2 and a 100% in Typography. I have a big creative project to start working on for my Photoshop 2 midterm and a possible test for my Typography midterm. Im hoping all goes well for midterms!

I also picked up a new hobby this year. Crocheting is a really good stress reliever. I’m working on a new beanie but that has recently been put on pause. I’m out of yarn! I haven’t been able to find the specific yarn I need at Joann’s and Michael’s in-store and online. I will most likely just buy it from the actual brand website. I’m having trouble justifying the price for ONE skein of yarn which is why I haven’t clicked “Pay” yet. I also have coupons to use from Joann’s and Michael’s so I’m a little annoyed I can’t just stock up the yarn I need along with yarn I WANT. Eventually, I’ll just suck it up and pay the $10 for the ONE skein on yarn. I JUST WANT TO USE MY COUPONS! Adulting is wanting to be cheap and use coupons to save money..😂😂😂

Anyways, today I am sitting at work on a VERY slow day looking back on my 26th year of life. It’s been a good 26. Tonight at 12:24am I will officially be 27 years old. I will continue to push myself in school, suck it up and buy all the awesome semi expensive yarns, and just continue to enjoy life. I’m excited to see what 27 will bring me. Good bye 26, and hello 27.
