This is going to be a very short post but I just wanted to share that I’m going to Puerto Rico in February!!! I’m so stoked, haha! It’s been 20 years since my last visit and I’ve been DYING to go.
I can’t wait to see my aunts, uncles, cousins, everybody! Due to the current state of Puerto Rico, I’m not quite sure what I’ll find. There are places and things that I wanted to visit and see but have been destroyed by the hurricanes. Nonetheless, I’ll still make the most of my trip and document as much as I possibly can. I’ve been to Puerto Rico multiple times probably from the time I was born up until I was 6. I don’t remember much so going as an adult will definitely mean so much more.
I’m not sure if the wifi and or power will be up and running when I get there but I’ll definitely upload some content. See? Short post. Haha! Im just excited and can’t wait for February.
Well, until next time!

If you’re visiting the center of the island don’t expect Wifi. PR is recovering fast and by the time you’re there I believe is going to get more normalize. Is true that there may be places destroyed but there’s also other places that you could go and enjoy as well. Have fun!!

Hola! I’m actually not going anymore. My trip is being postponed to a later date. The area my dad’s house is in (Rincon), is still not good. Only 4 restaurants seem to be opened, beaches and water are deemed to unsafe as well as the damaged roads. It just doesnt make sense to go. And from what I heard 2 days ago, there’s still many places without power. I also saw an update that there won’t be power for 2 months. Even if power is back in 2 months, it’s better to just wait a little longer. I’ve waited 20 years to go back, I can wait a little longer. π

Lucky you!! Youβre gonna have an even more amazing time if wifi is not working. Sometimes itβs good to be cut off from technology and live in the present. Otherwise too many instagram-worthy stuff happens around us and we get too busy clicking … π

That’s true! There will more more moments that are “in the now” instead of constantly pausing to take a picture. I can’t wait to go. It’s gonna be so amazing to visit as an adult. I can’t wait waaaaaaait!

Sometimes I quite enjoy forgetting my phone at home. Feels good to look up for a change! Lol

I think I need to do that more often. Just leave my phone at home or put it on silent and live life LOL. We need to stop living for likes and just live in the moment and make memories haha.
